Precast Bridge Beams are pre-stressed beams capable of spanning long distances, with maximum spans up to 45 m (depending on loads). They can be used for applications such as fly over bridges on motor ways, pedestrian bridges, commercial developments, marine jetties among many others.

Concast have invested heavily over the last five years in a state of the art precast bridge beam facility. This facility is capable of casting a variety of standard size bridge beams, as well as one off shapes, requested by the client.

Omnia slabs are a thin layer of solid concrete slab with a projecting lattice exposed to bind with insitu concrete which is poured later on site. It is suitable to span the short distance between bridge beams, and is often used as a permanent shutter in these applications.
Omnia slab is an ordinary reinforced concrete slab, but can also be cast in prestressed, using the wideslab mould. The depth of the concrete layer can vary depending on the intended span and loads. The height of the projecting lattice can also be varied, do the requirements of the client.
This product is often used as a permanent shutter on site, and can increase the speed on a structure on site significantly.
These are solid ordinary reinforced slabs used on pedestrian bridges or similar instances. These are capable of long spans under pedestrian loads, and can span up to 7 metres, depending on the depth of unit required.
These slabs can be cast as two beam sections, wtih a thin layer of slab spanning between them, as shown on the photos below, or as a uniform depth slab, spanning between two points.
Slabs are generally cast without an insitu section to tie the units together, and are therefore held in position through use of dowel tubes. They have a mould face finish at the top of the unit, to the requirements of the client.
