Willmott Dixon were instructed by Liverpool City Council to construct a five storey, 333 space multi-storey car park (MSCP) at Victoria Street in Liverpool City Centre. Willmott Dixon choose to design the main structure in steel incorporating three separate Precast access cores. Concast designed, manufactured, delivered and installed three separate five story Precast cores including two separate lift cores and a separate stairwell structure. Steel plates and reinforcement continuity strip were cast into the Precast units during manufacture to allow for structural connection with the steel frame. Concast have worked with Willmott Dixon on similar projects including MSCP’s at Darlington and Kings Dock Liverpool.
