Concast are active members of key professional bodies representing the construction, concrete and specifically precast concrete industries. Concast were amongst the founding members of the Irish Precast Concrete Association (IPCA) established in 1991 and have chaired the association for the years 2007 and 2008. Concast are also active members of the Irish Concrete Federation (ICF), based at Newlands Cross, Dublin. The role of the IPCA and the ICF is to represent the concrete industry, to develop industry standards in relation to Training, Health & Safety, the Environment, and Transport and to liaise with the relevant government bodies in relation to new legislation and all industry issues.
Concast are also members of the Irish Concrete Society, which is an organisation concerned with the technical aspects of design and construction in concrete. Our technical design engineers are members of Engineers Ireland, which organises a programme of seminars and training courses for engineers.
Concast are members of the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Construction Federation Operatives Pension Scheme (CFOPS). Our team regularly attend events organised through its branch network and sectoral associations.
