Precast Concrete Specialists

Foundations

Many large scale projects require a concrete pocket or other complicated foundation details at the base of columns or ground beams. These can be difficult to cast on site due to many factors, and are therefore suitalbe for precast. These units are generally repetitive elements which can achieve many casts from the one mould, which reduces the unit cost of the item and introduces economies of scale .

These pockets or footings can be cast into existing foundation details through use of dowel tubes, cast in sockets, projecting bars or other standard products, and can be cast to any shape or size required by the engineer or client.Typical pockets will have projecting bars from the base of the unit, as these are cast upside down in the mould, there is no issue with these projecting bars.
